Learning new skills, bringing ideas to life, and solving deep problems have fueled my inspiration as a designer and engineer. My journey began during my undergraduate studies in design, where I honed the ability to dissect problems and navigate the ambiguity of finding solutions. Starting with a focus on mechanical engineering, I later ventured into mechatronics, which opened my eyes to the vast and interconnected world of engineering.

Design has provided me with the perspective to identify the right problems, while engineering has equipped me with the tools to solve them. Coming from a first-generation, low-income family has shaped me into a resilient designer and engineer. It has given me the empathy to approach problems from a human-centered design lens, the resourcefulness to innovate under constraints, and the grit to persevere through challenges.

As a recent graduate of Stanford University with a B.S. in Product Design and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Iā€™m now seeking opportunities in R&D, where I can leverage both my design thinking and engineering mindset to think outside the box and contribute to building a better world.
